Capacity for Tiredness

I helped a Choices for Sustainable Living group start up tonight (at the UU church down the street), and noticed I was a little concerned in advance since I had only slept a couple of hours the night before. In the afternoon, I was in zombie mode for a while.

I took it as an opportunity to practice headlessness, and found myself as capacity for tiredness. This small self is obviously very tired, but that is only a small part of what arises within/as me when I find myself as capacity for what arises in the present.

I find myself with one foot in/as capacity - empty of tiredness and not tiredness, and with one foot in/as the world of phenomena - within which this tired self is only a small strand. Both help me function reasonably well in spite of the temporary conditions of the small self.
