Crowded
In exploring the shoreland between a sense of "I" and "no I", it is striking how crowded it all seems with an "I".
There is the belief in the idea of "I" superimposed on the sensations, feelings, thoughts, attention and awareness which is there. And there is obviously room for the belief in the idea of "I" on top of it all, but it does make it seem crowded, claustrophobic, narrow, closed down.
When the belief vanishes, through clear seeing, the stale air is cleaned out and there is room again - litterally infinite space. There is still the same content, minus the belief in the idea of "I" and all the highs and lows, the drama and struggles, which it brings with it.
