Causality & Movement

From the view of the whole, there are movements within this fluid seamless whole - and these are expressed simultaneously in all its many aspects. The full holarchy moves, and all the holons move with it.

From the view of the parts, there is cause and effect. One object bumps into another, which in turn changes, moves or (if conscious) reacts. The different holons mutually influence each other.

From a transdual view, we see that everything is just reflecting movements of the larger whole, and there is cause and effect as well. Both are aspects of the same process. The holarchy as a whole influences the holons, and the holons influence the holarchy as a whole.
